  There was no hot water for shower in our room. I spoke to the owner who took me to another room, still no hot water. She said she would give me a very good no gluten meal and my friend a vegetarian meal. We both got a bowl of broad beans probably out of a can, completely tasteless and soaked in oil.

  In the morning, I ordered an eggs and bacon from the wall menu. She charged me 3.50. I told her that the price on the wall was 3 euro. She said that 3 euros comes with one slice of bacon and since she gave me 2 slices of bacon, it was 3.50.

  Excellent Albergue. Very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino. We checked in and decided on a double room. The double room was luxery . It came with towels and soap (most Albergues do not give towels & soap). We did peak in the Albergue rooms and they were fantastic...great shower to bed ratio and super clean! There is a bar and restaurant in the Albergue, you can also purchase snacks, coffee, drinks, dinner & breakfast for an additional charge. They also have a Vegetarian option for dinner. The sitting room and outside patio are lovely. Truly a wonderful rest on the Camino.

  Stopped here on my camino in spring of 2016. Great spot and run by a very hard working woman and her son. Excellent bar and meal setup. Nice modern bathrooms. Good choice in Cardeñuela Riopico.
